Chargezoom Secures $11.5M in Series A Funding Led by Kickstart Fund

Chargezoom, a leading AI-powered billing and integrated payments platform, has raised $11.5 million in Series A funding, led by Kickstart Fund of Salt Lake City.

This funding marks Chargezoom’s official entry into the Utah tech ecosystem, positioning the company for rapid growth with the backing of one of Silicon Slopes’ premier early-stage venture funds.

“We’re excited to build Chargezoom right here in Utah,” said Matt Dubois, founder and CEO of Chargezoom. “This investment not only validates our vision but also brings invaluable resources and a strategic partner in Alex Soffe and the Kickstart team.”

The Series A round follows Chargezoom’s successful $2 million Seed funding in July 2021, which helped the company streamline accounts receivable processes for businesses seeking more efficient and flexible financial solutions.

“Chargezoom is using AI and machine learning to address critical needs in the payment space in ways we haven’t seen elsewhere,” said Alex Soffe of Kickstart. “We’re thrilled to support their mission to automate AR for growing businesses.”

Since securing its Seed funding, Chargezoom has experienced impressive growth of 3,972%, fueled by its mission to simplify payments and accelerate cash flow for U.S. businesses. The new funding will support Chargezoom’s rapid expansion and further enhance its platform.

As part of this new phase, Chargezoom has also restructured its investor lineup to align with its long-term goals. BIP Ventures has exited its position with the company.

Chargezoom is proud to welcome new investors, including Motley Fool Ventures, Early Light Ventures, Frazier VC, and Adly, in addition to continued support from SaaS Venture Capital, Stout Street Capital, and Okapi Venture Capital. These partnerships reflect a strong belief in Chargezoom’s potential to redefine the accounts receivable space.

“We’re excited to work with investors who share our vision and are fully committed to our mission of becoming the leader in AR automation,” said Matt Dubois.
