Diljit Dosanjh launched his ‘Dil-Luminati Tour 2024’ with an electrifying show at New Delhi’s JLN Stadium on October 26. The venue was packed as fans cheered him on through hit tracks like ‘Born to Shine,’ ‘5 Taara,’ ‘Do You Know,’ and ‘Ikk Kudi.’ But while many fans enjoyed the live concert, not everyone had a ticket. One young fan watched from her verandah, joining in from afar. In a heartwarming Instagram video shared by her parents, the child shouts, “Diljit uncle, thoda tez chila do (Diljit uncle, shout louder)!” Her mother jokingly added that, even at a distance, they could hear fragments of the music.
Diljit spotted the video and shared it on his Instagram Stories, responding warmly, “Beta, come, I have tickets for you and your family 🙏.”
After the show, Diljit shared memorable moments on Instagram, including a powerful shot of him holding the Indian flag, declaring, “This is my country, my home!” Grateful for the fans’ energy and support, he expressed his pride in Punjabi: “History. Dosanjhanwala’s name is written on Delhi—let’s see how hard they try to erase it.”
Following electrifying performances across Europe and North America, Diljit is now bringing his musical magic to fans in India. His second concert in Delhi is set for October 27, with the tour continuing to cities like Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Chandigarh in the weeks ahead. Meanwhile, many fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment over missing out on tickets.
