Emma Raises $17M in Series A Funding to Transform Cloud Management

Emma, a leading cloud management platform, has successfully raised $17 million in a Series A funding round, following its $6 million Seed Round in March 2023. With a total of $23 million secured within two years, Emma is set to accelerate its mission of simplifying multicloud management for modern enterprises.

The round was led by Smartfin, with additional support from RTP Global and existing investors. This investment will drive Emma’s product development, enhance go-to-market strategies, and bolster customer success initiatives.

Since its founding in 2019, Emma has been redefining cloud operations with a platform that integrates AI-driven automation, real-time analytics, and comprehensive multicloud management tools. By providing businesses with complete visibility and control over their cloud environments, Emma helps organizations optimize workloads, forecast usage, and implement efficient multicloud strategies, leading to better resource allocation and cost predictability.

“At Emma, we’re committed to shaping the future of cloud operations,” said Dmitry Panenkov, CEO of Emma. “As businesses scale, they need the flexibility to operate seamlessly across multiple providers. Our platform is creating the standards for cloud-agnostic operations, empowering companies to focus on innovation instead of infrastructure. This funding enables us to accelerate our vision and deliver even greater value to our customers.”

The funding will also support the development of new features, including AI accelerators, enhanced security tools, expanded cloud integrations, and more advanced automation capabilities. Emma plans to establish a research and development center at its headquarters in Luxembourg to address the growing demands of its expanding customer base and drive product innovation.

“Emma is tackling one of the most pressing challenges for modern enterprises: managing and optimizing complex multicloud environments,” said Harry Haeck, Partner at Smartfin. “By combining automation, cost transparency, and actionable insights into one platform, Emma is enabling businesses to innovate faster and operate more efficiently. We are thrilled to partner with a company at the forefront of smarter, more agile cloud management strategies.”

With this new infusion of capital, Emma is poised to set new benchmarks in cloud management, empowering enterprises worldwide to navigate the complexities of multicloud ecosystems with ease and efficiency.
